Job Title: Expeditor

Pay Rate: $18.94/hr to $28.40/hr (depending on experience)

Job Summary:

To expedite our purchase orders and coordinate incoming material with customer’s orders. This is a customer service position.

Required Essential Job Functions/Duties:

1. On a daily basis, go through backorder file and expedite material due on those backorders.
2. On a daily basis, pre-expedite open orders to assure they will be shipped on schedule.
3. Expedite late stock orders with our suppliers, and trace late shipments through carriers.
4. Enter expediting data in computer on a daily basis, including ship date changes, test reports, and order cancellations.
5. Schedule auto freight orders, assist in finding carriers.
6. Answer customer inquiries.
7. Perform stock, checks for sales staff and provide order updates.
8. Reconcile received material with existing purchase orders.

Qualifications:

1. Detail oriented with the ability to analyze and solve problems.
2. Good written and verbal communication skills.
3. Able to deal with suppliers and customers in professional manner.
